About Us
MACOS NV was established in 2005 with the purpose of serving the maritime industry in the Caribbean, but Suriname in particular, with knowledge of nautical and maritime subjects.
MACOS is specialized in various types of maritime surveys, inspection and (re)certification of Off-shore container units and lifting equipment and accessories. MACOS also conducts appraisals. Our services are martime industry related but not limited to.
Spot-on Surveying
MACOS is specialized in lashing, cargo damage surveys, loading/discharge surveys, draft surveys, on-hire/off-hire surveys, bunker surveys, condition surveys; MACOS also conduct appraisals and inspections of marine vessels and is certified to conduct inspections and (re)certification of lifting equipment, lifting accessories and off-shore container units.

MACOS provides technical advice to shippers, shipowners, charterers and consignees for fair, objective and consistent cooperation between ship and shore. Our reports are concise, transparent and independent. All stakeholders in the supply chain of cargo transportation by sea, including insurance companies, benefit from our services.
